Teacher training

This course is specifically designed for teachers (or future teachers) of Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE). The goal of this training is to eliminate all doubts, but also to strengthen knowledge and deepen your understanding of the language. Private classes enable the student to feel more confident and to work more intensively. You will be able to acquire new ideas, materials or tools for your classes (or future classes) at the source. Another advantage of private lessons is that you will not be tempted to speak in a language other than Spanish. The content is individually designed and fully adapted to the needs of the student. To guarantee this, a survey is made in advance of the teachers participating in the course. We have implemented Comenius programs: 2.2. We successfully collaborate in EU Programs, such as "Project Allegro"

Course prices

€ 750.00 Example for 1 week: (See additional information, if there are 2 students and they share the class with same level)

  • Training: 4 daily private lessons from Monday to Friday (a total of 20 lessons). 1 lesson = 50 minutes.

  • Free transfer from Cuenca’s bus & railway station to your accommodation.

  • Contact with native teachers.

  • Visit to a company with information about the world of work.

  • Trip to a business to learn about the flow and workings of a Spanish company.

  • Guided tour of the city.

  • An excursion to Cuenca's mountains.

  • Welcome folder and class material (grammar book).

  • Initial evaluation and personal assessment.

  • Right to final evaluation and certificate of attendance from the school.

  • Use of the leisure rooms (WIFI in the whole centre).

  • Use of the LIBRARY- VIDEO LIBRARY and loan service.

  • Contact person for optimal advising, available from arrival until departure at the end of your stay.

Levels and content

  • Active and varied teaching content: grammar, vocabulary and conversation, entertainment, current events and culture.

  • Advice and material provided to the participant to help them organize and prepare class activities and acquire new methods of teaching and learning.

  • Content that is individually designed and completely adapted to the needs of the participants. To guarantee this, a survey is taken beforehand by the teachers participating in the course.

According to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Level required for this course: minimum B1

  • Intermediate Level (B1-B2)

  • Advanced Level (C1-C2)

Our Spanish lessons support students throughout the learning process. Our main goal is to ensure that all students take full advantage of their time in Cuenca to improve their Spanish skills.

Additional services

  • Private airport shuttle service (Madrid - Cuenca): € 125.00 one way.

  • There is also the possibility of using the regional train or an intercity bus. Minimum cost of € 20.00.

  • Cuenca is connected with a high-speed train (AVE) to Madrid and Valencia. (The journey time is 50 mins. approx.). Minimum cost of € 25.00.

  • € 30.00/ student: Price of a round-trip excursion to the mountains, including sporting activities (i.e. canyoning tour with expert guides).

INFORMATION

  • All activities have an educational content and are linked to the study programs. Our team is qualified in the Spanish language and culture. They will guide and motivate you during the development of each extracurricular activity through workshops, games or tests, all to promote the learning of Spanish.

  • Extracurricular cultural, sports and recreational activities that are adapted to different ages.

  • Included: Walk with explanations through the old town of Cuenca, night of legends, movie afternoon, ascent to Cerro del Socorro, meeting native teachers.

  • Apart from the activities that we offer you in the centre, we can help you organise your own excursions according to your interests. In the centre we can inform you of the activities offered in the city and in the region.
